Had the incredible opportunity to pitch MOmsi Health at the Venture Capital World Summit in London. Hearing three rounds of applause from investors and fellow founders was truly overwhelming, in the best way!
Building Babymomsi has been an intense journey, but moments like this make it all worthwhile. When someone asked, ‘Wait, you only started this in January? How are you already this far along?’ I couldn’t help but smile.
Our secret sauce? A passionate team motivated from lived experience as new parents, an extraordinary support and advisory from seasoned founder-mentors who’ve walked the path, strategic VC advisors who truly get our vision, clinical experts ensuring we stay grounded in evidence, and ex-Unicorn CMOs guiding our market entry and dropping gold-standard marketing insights.
Yesterday reminded me why this journey matters so much. After my pitch, a mother pulled me aside and said, “I wish I had this when I was going through it.” That moment reaffirmed something deep, that we’re not just building a product, we’re holding space for a pain too often overlooked, for mothers to feel seen, supported, and cared for. A new mother’s wellbeing isn’t an afterthought; it’s the heartbeat of everything we’re building.
We attracted interest from over four investors and secured a commitment toward our pre-seed round to bring our vision of building the ‘Calm for Mothers’ to life! ❤️
This is just the beginning of our mission to combat maternal isolation and postpartum depression and deliver on our promise to help new mothers feel seen, heard, and emotionally supported, when they need it most. 💪🏾
Grateful to Elio for this opportunity and community that lifts us up!
