Elaine Godley Speaker
An expert in behavioural profiling, Elaine formed Healthwatchers UK to help individuals maximise their health and, in turn, their performance in the workplace.
Born with a congenital kidney disease and, in 2009, diagnosed with breast cancer, Elaine has deep personal experience of the links between illness and workplace effectiveness. Over a career spanning 40 years, she has developed her knowledge and expertise in this specialist field while holding senior positions at leading businesses in the financial and legal sectors.
Before founding Healthwatchers UK, Elaine was CEO at Young at Heart which she founded in 2009. The business combined artery screening with behavioural profiling to promote health in the workplace.
Between 1999 and 2009, Elaine worked on a consultancy basis, helping to transform underperforming teams for clients in the professional services, government and educational sectors. As well as coaching, mentoring and overseeing change programmes, Elaine helped clients implement new recruitment, credit management and efficiency processes.
Elaine’s decade as a consultant followed time as Chief Operations Officer at Ernst and Young, Senior Finance Manager and Head of Credit Management at top law firm Simmons&Simmons and Head of Credit Management at accountancy firm, Grant Thornton.
In 1979 Elaine established a kitchen and bedroom design and installation service which grew into a £2 million business working with Wrighton Kitchens, Harrods, Debenhams and Barratt Homes.
