We are now providing some overall German market startup investment analysis: the total number of deals in Germany in 2018 so far has been 272, which in comparison is 3% higher than in the first half of 2017 and deal volumes are the second highest within the European Union. The most attractive City in Germany for investments is Berlin with 45% of all investments made in Germany. In terms of deal volume, Berlin is also number one with 1611 Mil Euro. In terms of industries with most investment funding is eCommerce with a total amount of 975 million Euro, it then follows FinTech with a total volume of 396 million Euro and Software with a total amount of 386 million Euro.
